We met during the first football weekend of freshman year - Furman played at Clemson (and lost).

We started dating on September 21st (yes, September by Earth, Wind, and Fire is definitely our song) and spent the majority of college taking turns visiting each other on the weekends. Not-so-fun fact: we are STILL doing long distance!

We've been together since we were 18, meaning we have had over 6 years of being each other's dates to everything! Formals, concerts, sporting events, vacations, and even a cotillion.

If you know us, especially Sadie, you can likely guess why we are having a December wedding. We both love this time of year, and we cannot imagine a more magical time to get married. Now, we just have to wait and see who wins our annual gift giving competition (it will be Sadie).

Now we're both in medical school - one at UVA in Charlottesville and one at MUSC in Charleston. 8 hours apart and still going strong!

Fast forward to January of 2024 and we finally got engaged at a gorgeous vineyard in Virginia. Tucker had Sadie completely fooled - she thought it was coming months later! Both of our parents even kept the surprise a secret and drove up to watch and celebrate. It's been a long time coming and we are so excited to start our marriage! We cannot wait to celebrate with you this December!
